Business Consultant – SMB Sales

About the role

Join Pnet, a leading South African job board and part of the global StepStone Group, as a Business Consultant focused on Small and Medium‑Business (SMB) clients. You will help companies transform their hiring processes by promoting Pnet’s recruitment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and manage high‑quality leads using various sourcing techniques.
• Prospect, cold‑call, and close deals, positioning Pnet as the preferred hiring platform.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through strategic conversations, usage tracking, and upselling.
• Ensure accurate administrative handling of contracts and reporting via the CRM system.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and sales skills to meet growth targets.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales track record with strong cold‑calling abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to understand and address customer needs empathetically.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
