Business Analyst – Cape Town & Johannesburg

About the role

Capitec Bank is seeking an energetic Business Analyst to support its operations in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The role focuses on optimizing business efficiencies through automation, digital, and information technologies by analysing and defining business requirements and functional specifications. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and product owners to ensure solutions meet strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current business processes and translate requirements into clear functional specifications, process diagrams and visual explanations.
• Design, develop and implement solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams and product owners, ensuring effective rollout and continuous improvement.
• Apply Agile development principles and SDLC best practices to drive project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate communication between business and technology teams, ensuring requirements are accurately understood and implemented.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis.
• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, including independent work on assignments.
• Completion of BA School of Learning Level 2 (or equivalent).
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Knowledge of banking industry processes is preferred.
