Branch Manager

About the role

As a Branch Manager at Volvo Trucks, you will lead the branch’s full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and safety. You will be part of the Retail Operations Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Director of Retail Operations for the Southern Africa region.

Key responsibilities

• Own the branch’s P&L and ensure financial targets are met.
• Maintain full compliance with health and safety standards.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and utilization KPIs.
• Manage work‑in‑progress, cost allocation, and daily invoicing.
• Implement the strategic business plan and retail processes.
• Develop and motivate branch staff, ensuring full staffing and regular performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other Volvo business units to secure the right competence levels.
• Communicate with Business Control to align projections and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a commercial operation with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong focus on health & safety and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
