Audit Manager

About the role

We are a climate‑focused blended finance investment manager operating across emerging markets. The Audit Manager will strengthen governance, risk management and internal controls by leading risk‑based internal and IT audits.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and deliver complex risk‑based internal and IT audit reviews from scoping to final reporting.
• Assess the adequacy of internal controls, identify gaps and recommend practical improvements.
• Contribute to the annual internal audit plan and monitor implementation of management actions.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to provide risk and control advice and support decision‑making.
• Prepare audit reports, management letters and inputs for the Audit and Risk Committee.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Accounting, Internal Audit or related field, and/or professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIA or CISA.
• 8–10 years of audit experience, including 3–4 years in financial services or asset management.
• Proven experience leading complex audit engagements and assessing risk in a regulated environment.
