Audit Associate Director

About the role

Pwc is seeking an Audit Associate Director to lead its non‑attest division in the Eastern Cape. This senior position combines client‑facing audit leadership with strategic oversight of a portfolio of private‑client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as engagement leader for private clients, including individuals, trusts, close corporations and companies, signing independent review and compilation reports.
• Provide oversight and mentorship to managers and staff, ensuring high‑quality delivery and adherence to professional standards.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day operations of the division and support the partner in strategic decision‑making.
• Identify market gaps, pursue growth opportunities and develop new service ideas.
• Promote technological advances and integrate people‑technology collaboration.
• Uphold PwC’s reputation by enforcing quality, integrity, inclusion and commercial mindset.
