Associate SAP Human Capital Solutions Architect

About the role

Sanlam Group Technology is looking for an entry‑level Associate SAP Human Capital Solutions Architect to own the end‑to‑end architecture of its HR technology landscape. You will ensure SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) are aligned, secure, scalable and ready for current operations and future transformation, working in a hybrid environment with three days on site.

Key responsibilities

• Engage business and technical stakeholders to capture HR and technology goals.
• Translate requirements into a robust solution and integration architecture.
• Design, validate and document complex SAP Human Capital solutions.
• Research and recommend new SAP‑based approaches to address business challenges.
• Contribute to strategic planning, road‑maps and governance for on‑premise and cloud SAP HCM landscapes.
• Support system migrations, upgrades and integration with other enterprise platforms.
• Present architecture proposals to internal review forums.

Required profile

• Matric qualification and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Entry‑level experience or strong academic background in SAP Human Capital solutions.
• Ability to understand and interpret HR business processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
