Accountant – Commercial Finance (SAICA qualified)

About the role
This position is ideal for a newly signed‑off SAICA professional looking to move beyond audit into commercial finance. You will apply technical accounting expertise in a fast‑paced logistics and distribution environment, gaining exposure to operational finance, profitability, budgeting and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Analyse operational costs and profitability.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
- Support month‑end and year‑end reporting processes.
- Assist with financial and management reporting.
- Monitor financial performance and investigate significant variances.
Required profile
- Completed SAICA articles.
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.
- 0–2 years post‑articles experience.
