ABAP Consultant – SAP Development

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an ABAP Consultant to join its Consulting team. You will work on SAP application management services, helping clients automate processes and improve system performance while collaborating closely with functional consultants and client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients and functional consultants with minimal supervision.
• Apply object‑oriented concepts in ABAP development.
• Implement SAP forms, including SAP Scripts, Smartforms, and PDF outputs.
• Develop, create, and enhance SAP workflows and resolve workflow issues.
• Perform WebDynpro development as required.
• Analyze existing ABAP programs, recommend performance improvements, and implement optimizations.
• Design new ABAP programs based on functional specifications and enhance existing code using modularization techniques.
