Veterinary Surgeon

About the role

We are expanding our modern, busy practice in the riverside town of Maidstone and are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The position can be full‑time or part‑time, up to 40 hours per week, with paid lunches and a fair weekend rota.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine surgery, soft‑tissue procedures and basic orthopaedic cases.
• Utilise digital X‑ray and ultrasound equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical and non‑clinical team, sharing knowledge and mentoring colleagues.
• Maintain a minimal sole‑charge load and no out‑of‑hours duties.
• Contribute to practice development, including investment in specialist equipment where beneficial.

Required profile

• Qualified veterinary surgeon with several years of clinical experience.
• Forward‑thinking and eager to bring ideas to life within a growing practice.
• Interest in surgery or diagnostic imaging is welcomed but not essential.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and CPD.
