Remote IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company by being the first point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, maintain systems, and ensure smooth IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via email, phone and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems promptly.
• Assist with setup, configuration and maintenance of company systems, hardware and software.
• Guide users through problem‑solving steps and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Document incidents, resolutions and system configurations in a ticketing system.
• Support software deployments and updates.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.
• Track recurring issues to improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Experience working remotely and supporting international clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑service mindset with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
• Remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.

What we offer

• Compensation ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 per month (USD), based on experience.
