Quantity Surveyor

About the role

This full-time, on-site position is for a Quantity Surveyor based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role focuses on cost planning, cost control and the preparation of detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to support successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost plans and cost control procedures.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for construction projects.
• Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Produce regular cost reports and financial analyses.
• Ensure accurate cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and adhere to financial guidelines and deadlines.

Required profile

• Proficiency in cost control, cost management and cost planning.
• South African ID or passport.
• Proven ability in cost reporting and financial analysis for projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
• Familiarity with South African construction industry standards.
