Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for delivering and coordinating occupational health and primary healthcare services at the site. This role ensures compliance with legislation, company policies and industry best practices while promoting employee health, safety and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide occupational health assessments, screenings, vaccinations and first‑aid care.
• Develop and implement preventive health programs and wellness initiatives.
• Manage acute and chronic health issues, including curative care and follow‑up.
• Ensure all health activities comply with relevant legislation and company standards.
• Maintain accurate health records and report on health metrics.
• Collaborate with management to identify health risks and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with a focus on occupational health.
• Experience delivering primary healthcare services in a workplace setting.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practices.
• Ability to communicate health information clearly to employees and management.
