About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a skilled Millwright to join its manufacturing team. The role involves installing, aligning, and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment across the plant, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Dismantle, assemble, install and align machinery and equipment.
• Move and position large equipment and construct foundations for machines.
• Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs.
• Perform planned maintenance on production machinery.
• Fit, inspect, test and repair MCC panels, circuits, wiring systems and electrical equipment.
• Install, commission and test new machinery, including SCADA interface updates with PLC systems.
• Repair electrical circuitry and components and evaluate unit performance.

Required profile

• Matriculation (high school) qualification.
• Four to five years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Trade or NTC certification; Red Seal Certificate preferred.
• Ability to manage a small team.

Required skills

• Pneumatic and hydraulic system repair.
• Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Planned preventive maintenance.
• MCC panel, electrical wiring and circuitry work.
• SCADA and PLC integration.
