About the Role

Join a high-growth US-based boutique SEO agency as a Local SEO Specialist. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role designed for a specialist who thrives on driving tangible results through Google Business Profile optimization, local ranking improvements, and lead generation for service-based businesses.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) to maximize visibility.
• Execute local citation audits and creation across key directories.
• Conduct hyper-localized keyword research targeting specific geographic areas.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on local SEO performance metrics.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and web developers to implement optimizations.
• Produce and optimize localized content, including service pages, blogs, and GBP posts.
• Perform backlink research and execute strategic local outreach campaigns.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in Local SEO (not general SEO).
• Proven track record in managing Google Business Profile and improving local rankings.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment.
• Availability to overlap with US working hours is required.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Google Business Profile (GBP) management.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, BrightLocal, or similar.
• Strong local citation and directory management skills.
• Local content writing and optimization.
• Data analysis and performance reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the Home Services sector (HVAC, Plumbing, etc.).
