About the role

Join Thompsons For Travel as a Leisure Travel Consultant and turn clients' dream vacations into reality. You will work with warm leads, design bespoke itineraries, and provide expert advice without the need for cold‑calling.

Key responsibilities

• Design personalised travel experiences such as island escapes, multi‑city honeymoons and private safaris.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering insider tips and destination expertise.
• Manage the full reservations process from input to output, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Meet sales targets while delivering exceptional service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leisure or luxury travel consulting.
• Strong communication skills with warmth, confidence and attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic, professional and passionate about discovery.

Required skills

• Travel and Tourism Certificate.
• GDS experience – Amadeus preferred.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good geographical knowledge and ability to interpret contracts.
