As an Assistant Train Driver, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and punctual movement of diverse freight and passenger services, contributing directly to our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Missions principales

• Support the Train Driver in the safe operation of various locomotive types (air-brake, empty, high-speed, heavy haul, and passenger).
• Perform pre-service duties, including locomotive preparation and rigorous inspections of equipment, brakes, and communication systems.
• Conduct essential pre-journey tests and manage technical setups such as telemetry mounting.
• Execute shunting operations and vehicle list compilation in accordance with work orders.
• Provide active assistance during transit through signal monitoring, track observation, train protection, and incident management.
• Maintain accurate administrative records, including logbooks and end-of-shift reports.
