Group Creditors Controller

About the role

The Up and Up Group is seeking a self‑starting Group Creditors Controller to manage the OPEX creditors process from our Cape Town CBD finance hub. You will ensure accurate processing, reconciliation and payment of operating expenditures while supporting the Finance Manager and CFO in streamlining accounts payable procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, allocate correct GL codes and divisional codes, and match them to purchase orders and statements.
• Capture and reconcile invoices and payments in Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
• Prepare monthly supplier account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor payment terms and execute weekly credit‑card reconciliations.
• Serve as primary contact for OPEX supplier queries and maintain professional relationships.
• Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs for approval, ensuring proper documentation.
• Support month‑end closing with accruals, variance explanations and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Maintain supplier master data, verify documentation and assist with internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a fast‑paced advertising environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple supplier relationships.
