About the role
Fairfield Educare is seeking a dedicated early childhood teacher to join its Cape Town centre. This full-time, on-site position involves creating a nurturing learning environment for young children and supporting their developmental milestones.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that meet developmental objectives.
- Deliver interactive educational activities and facilitate classroom discussions.
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress, maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about learning outcomes and classroom experiences.
- Participate in ongoing training programmes to enhance teaching methods.
Required profile
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom.
- Passion for fostering growth in young learners.
Required skills
- Lesson planning and curriculum development for early years.
- Ability to lead teaching and training initiatives.
