Data Security & DLP Analyst – Remote Contract

About the role

We partner with leading AI research labs to build and train frontier AI models. As a Data Security & DLP Analyst you will help ensure that sensitive data is protected, risks are understood, and controls are effective across real‑world AI training pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios spanning cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments.
• Classify data sensitivity levels, identify exposure paths, and assess policy violations.
• Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident‑response strategies for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate, label, and validate data‑security cases used to train and benchmark AI systems.
• Help AI models reason more accurately about sensitive information, risk, and regulatory context.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in data security, compliance, or security operations.
• Familiarity with DLP tools, data‑classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory concepts such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI‑DSS.
• Strong practical understanding of data risk in enterprise environments.
• Comfortable analyzing security incidents and articulating nuanced risk decisions in writing.
• Self‑directed and reliable, able to deliver quality work asynchronously.
