CSOC Analyst – Cyber Security Operations Centre

About the role

We are seeking a CSOC Analyst to join our Cyber Security Operations Centre in Cape Town. The role offers the chance to develop a career in cybersecurity within a growing professional services business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, own, progress and resolve security incidents as part of a multi‑disciplined CSOC team.
• Perform prompt triage and investigation of security events, determining scope, urgency and impact.
• Provide technical support for detection and response to suspicious or malicious activities and security breaches.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve incidents and ensure vulnerability compliance.
• Drive customer satisfaction and continuously improve operational performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the threat landscape, including threat actors, TTPs and vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Experience working with SIEM technology, preferably in a CSOC or SOC environment.
• Technical knowledge of intrusion analysis and network/security investigations.
• Ability to work shift patterns, including night‑time rotations.
