About the role

The Capital Hotels is seeking a dedicated Concierge to join its Front Office team. In this guest‑focused role you will be the primary point of contact for visitors needing assistance, information, or personalized recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main reference for guests requiring assistance or information.
• Provide customized solutions by suggesting hotel facilities, local activities, and attractions.
• Assist guests with transportation bookings and advise on nearby malls, points of interest, and events.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local attractions and services to deliver accurate recommendations.

Required profile

• Matric qualification and a Hospitality qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Concierge.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving approach and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Friendly, courteous, service‑oriented attitude with strong communication and active listening skills.
• Knowledge of local attractions and activities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Honest, trustworthy, detail‑oriented, and professionally presentable.
• Proactive team player who leads by example.
