Account Analyst – Business Banking

About the role

Capitec is seeking a detail‑driven, client‑focused Account Analyst to join its Business Bank team. The role is office‑based and supports the day‑to‑day management of client portfolios, ensuring compliance and identifying cross‑selling opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Support portfolio and client management activities.
• Prepare and motivate credit applications.
• Monitor loan facilities daily to ensure compliance with approved terms.
• Act as the primary contact for client queries and service requests.
• Identify opportunities to add value and support cross‑selling initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA).

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of banking experience.
• At least 3 years in Business Banking or Commercial Banking.
• Experience preparing credit applications.
• Knowledge of general banking practices, credit principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of Business Banking operations, risks, and financial requirements.
