Technical Support Engineer – German Speaking

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Technical Support Engineer who can provide first‑line assistance to our German‑speaking customers using the DigiCert ONE platform. The role involves troubleshooting certificate lifecycle issues, handling inquiries via phone and email, and ensuring a high‑quality support experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist German‑speaking EMEA customers with DigiCert ONE certificate lifecycle products through phone and email.
• Maintain a professional image in all communications and document interactions accurately.
• Collaborate with Validation teams to process lawyer‑card requests and with cross‑functional groups to resolve complex issues.
• Identify trends in support cases, alert supervisors, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Research solutions using internal knowledge bases, labs, and documentation.
• Master internal tools for timely problem resolution and contribute new articles to the DigiCert Knowledge Base.

Required profile

• Professional proficiency in German (essential).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work well in a diverse team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products and related software.
