Supervisor Quality Control/Assurance II

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Quality Control/Assurance Supervisor to lead the QC/QA function at its Brits Bakery in South Africa. The role focuses on raw material intake, grading, and ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Document and manage quality processes and information.
• Update and implement QA procedures.
• Conduct and moderate internal and external quality management audits.
• Test and control raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
• Resolve customer complaints and product returns.
• Manage a team and train employees on QM systems, policies, and procedures.

Required profile

• National Diploma or equivalent in Biotechnology or Food Technology.
• 3‑5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or quality environment.
• Computer literacy with SAP and MS Office.
• FSSC 2200 and Lead Auditor certification is advantageous.
• Experience with AIB implementation and maintenance.
