Senior Technician – Commercial Operations

About the role

The Senior Technician will ensure that all site equipment and vehicles are fully operational, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of fuel products. This role is critical for maintaining high service levels, completing daily reconciliations, and overseeing field technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installations, preventative and reactive maintenance according to KPIs.
• Conduct quality control and standard work inspections.
• Facilitate safe product delivery, verify quantities, and manage tanker over‑fill escalations.
• Log, monitor and close service calls within SLA, aiming for first‑time resolution.
• Oversee junior technicians and pump attendants, providing on‑the‑job training.
• Maintain van stock records and capture manual overrides.
• Take pump meter and tank level readings, reconcile daily, and submit reconciliation sheets.
• Adhere to HSSE requirements, use PPE, and report incidents or near‑misses.

Required profile

• Medically fit and holder of a valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, overtime and standby.
• Strong communication skills for feedback to the office and escalation.
• Ability to supervise field staff and conduct audits.
