Senior Customer Category Specialist

About the Role

Join Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), the largest Coca-Cola bottler in Africa, as a Customer Category Specialist. Reporting to the Customer Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our Category Development team, driving growth and optimizing product visibility across our vast distribution network.

Main Missions

• Develop and implement strategic category management plans to drive volume and value growth.
• Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify new opportunities for category expansion.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of category strategies at the retail level.
• Optimize product assortment and shelf presence to enhance the shopper experience.
• Monitor and report on category performance, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Profile Required

• Proven experience in Category Management, Trade Marketing, or a similar commercial role within the FMCG sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment across diverse African markets.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
