Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the role

KingMakers is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join the Unified Back Office (UBO) domain. You will design, build, and evolve critical platforms and services that enable operational excellence across our sports and iGaming ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement micro‑services that power back‑office systems, authentication, market configuration and operational automation.
• Develop and maintain cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes and AKS.
• Integrate messaging and event‑streaming solutions such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of complex technical projects, ensuring performance, observability and security.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Proven ability to design distributed, domain‑driven and event‑driven systems.
• Experience delivering large‑scale solutions in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
