Sales Cadet Programme – Commercial Vehicles (12‑month)

About the role

This 12‑month Sales Cadet Programme offers unemployed youth practical, on‑the‑job training within the commercial vehicle sector. Participants will gain hands‑on experience in sales fundamentals, customer engagement and product knowledge while being mentored by seasoned sales professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior sales staff with customer interactions and quotations.
• Learn and present product specifications for trucks, buses and after‑sales services.
• Support the preparation of sales reports and market analysis.
• Participate in field visits and showroom demonstrations.
• Contribute to team meetings and share insights from customer feedback.

Required profile

• Unemployed youth aged 18‑29 years.
• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; tertiary study in Sales, Marketing or Business is an advantage.
• Strong desire to build a career as a Commercial Vehicles Sales Executive.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Computer literacy and a clean criminal record.
• Must not have participated in any previous YES4Youth programme.
