Reservationist – Travel & Hospitality

About the role

RETURN Africa is seeking a motivated Reservationist to join its Head Office team in Johannesburg. You will be the first point of contact for guests and travel agents, ensuring smooth booking experiences across our portfolio of properties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to all reservation inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Provide exceptional service to travel agents and fulfill their requests efficiently.
• Maintain accurate guest and agent databases.
• Oversee the full reservation cycle from quoting to invoicing.
• Handle telephone inquiries with professionalism.
• Promote and cross‑sell our unique property portfolio.
• Coordinate additional logistics to guarantee seamless travel experiences.
• Perform general administrative duties to support office operations.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager on sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Team player with a positive attitude and passion for hospitality.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar travel or hospitality role.
• Strong references confirming reliability and professionalism.
• Reliable personal transport and at least a Matric qualification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hotel reservation systems.
• Excellent computer literacy.
