PR Officer – Brand Home Events & Digital

About the role

The PR Officer will be the operational hub for the Durbanville Hills Brand Home, ensuring seamless execution of events, real‑time digital content, and financial administration. This role supports on‑site marketing, PR, events, cellar and restaurant teams to deliver memorable guest experiences while maintaining brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all Brand Home events, including seasonal, experiential and themed series.
• Handle event logistics, stock ordering, attendance tracking and post‑event reporting.
• Create live social media content on Instagram Stories, cover events in real time and curate user‑generated content.
• Execute weekly and month‑end banking processes, reconcile daily sales and manage debtor queries in SAP.
• Maintain the online store with accurate product listings, wine facts, pricing and ticketing information.
• Support PR activities such as awards submissions, influencer visits and event highlights.
• Own and update SOPs for banking, event operations and digital updates, identifying efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in operations, events, hospitality or FMCG environments.
• Recognised qualification in hospitality, tourism or event coordination.

Required skills

• SAP for financial transactions and reconciliation.
• Instagram (Stories, live coverage) and general social‑media content creation.
• Online store/e‑commerce platform management.
