Plant Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a remote Plant Engineer on a contract basis to support a one‑off project due today. The role involves overseeing plant operations, handling maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and improving overall efficiency while ensuring safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Develop costings, technical drawings, and 3D renders related to plant projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to devise strategies for enhanced plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in plant engineering, maintenance, and operations.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Effective communication and technical documentation skills.
• Previous experience in 3D design or engineering is a plus.
