Lodge Reservationist

About the role

The Lodge Reservationist will manage guest bookings from initial enquiry through to arrival, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests at our family‑friendly luxury safari lodge. This position is central to maintaining accurate reservations, rates, and availability while providing prompt, professional communication with agents and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reservations from enquiry to confirmation and arrival.
• Accurately capture booking details, rates, and guest information in the reservation system.
• Respond to emails and calls promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with operations, housekeeping, and guiding teams regarding guest movements.
• Monitor availability, allocations, and booking amendments.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reservation reports as required.

Required profile

• Previous reservations or front‑office experience within the hospitality or lodge industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time‑management abilities.
• Customer‑service oriented with a professional and friendly manner.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with reservation systems such as NightsBridge, ResRequest, or Semper.
