Linux Administrator

About the role

NTT DATA is looking for a Junior Automation Engineer to join its team as a Linux Administrator. In this role you will design, develop and maintain automated solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop, configure and maintain automation scripts and tools.
• Integrate automation solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation‑related issues promptly.
• Participate in testing, validation and documentation of automation processes.
• Monitor automation performance and optimise for efficiency.
• Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in automation engineering.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Python or other scripting languages such as Bash or Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Good problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.
