Link Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Link Driver to transport food products across Gauteng and surrounding areas. The role involves operating heavy‑duty trucks, ensuring timely and complete deliveries while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the assigned vehicle, performing daily inspections and reporting any faults.
• Complete vehicle inspection sheets, refuel the truck, and keep the vehicle and equipment clean.
• Load and unload various food products, including pallets, ensuring correct loading procedures.
• Adhere to the Road Traffic Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and company policies.
• Verify documentation against loads, confirm correct quantities, and obtain signed proof of delivery.
• Navigate routes throughout Gauteng and surrounding areas efficiently.
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition and practice good housekeeping.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate.
• Valid, unendorsed Code 14 driver’s licence with a valid PRDP.
• 5–10 years of driving experience, preferably on Scania, Mercedes‑Benz or MAN trucks.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and numerical skills.
• Hardworking, self‑motivated, and professional attitude with good time‑management skills.
