Lecturer and Module Coordinator

About the role

Stadio is seeking a dynamic Lecturer and Module Coordinator to join its academic team in Cape Town. The role involves delivering both on‑site and online lectures, overseeing module content, and supporting student success over a six‑month fixed‑term period.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lectures in‑venue and online.
• Provide feedback to students, coordinate lecturers and programme coordinators, and moderate assessments.
• Manage module Q&A forums, student induction, and support students at risk.
• Develop, review and update study guides and ensure alignment with prescribed textbooks.
• Draft formal assessments, conduct pre‑moderation, and oversee marking processes.
• Participate in programme reviews, community engagement, and campus meetings.
• Maintain accurate records, support recruitment activities and contribute to professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (as indicated in education level).
• Mid‑level teaching experience in higher education.
• Ability to design and review academic materials and assessments.
• Strong communication skills for student interaction and coordination with faculty.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and community initiatives.
