Junior Quantity Surveyor - Construction & Foundations

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. Main Responsibilities

• Perform accurate cost estimation and quantity take-offs for various projects.
• Manage and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) with high precision.
• Conduct site valuations and monitor financial reporting for ongoing construction projects.
• Oversee cost control for raft foundations, small-scale civil works, and real estate development projects.
• Manage time-related items within project programs to ensure budget compliance.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of proven experience specifically within the construction and foundations sector.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost calculation and measurement.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Fluency in both English and Afrikaans is mandatory.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in DimensionX and WinQSMS software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expertise in cost calculation and quantity measurement.
• Strong understanding of project programming and time-related cost management.

Compensation

• Monthly salary of R30,000 CTC.
