Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing & Process Optimization)

About the Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be a key driver of operational excellence, focusing on enhancing productivity, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the highest standards of quality within our production environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Develop and implement operational strategies, monitor manufacturing performance, and lead continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
• Industrialization: Evaluate and optimize processes, equipment, and tooling; support product industrialization and manage capacity planning and staffing levels.
• Process & Systems Optimization: Streamline workflows and production layouts to reduce waste, optimize resource utilization, and implement cost-control systems.
• Data-Driven Problem Solving: Conduct time studies, benchmarks, and performance analyses to investigate issues and propose data-backed solutions.
• Project Support: Ensure seamless transition of new products into production while strictly adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Candidate Profile

• Degree / B-Tech / National Diploma in Industrial Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Experience in military vehicle manufacturing is a significant advantage.
• Six Sigma certification is highly desirable.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
• Strong teamwork and collaborative communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Python or similar programming languages (a plus).
