Finance Manager

About the role

The education group is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function across its multiple entities in Durban. This senior position will provide strategic financial oversight, ensure robust reporting, and support senior leadership with actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full finance function for a group of companies, including month‑end close and reporting.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance across entities.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
• Completed articles with a reputable firm.
• Minimum 5 years post‑article experience.
• Experience in group or multi‑entity reporting is highly advantageous.
