DevOps Engineer

About the role

Softsure is modernising a 15‑year‑old platform into a cloud‑native, API‑first ecosystem. As a DevOps Engineer you will own the CI/CD platform, automate deployments and enable engineers to ship faster and safer.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (and transition from Azure DevOps).
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform, Bicep and ARM templates.
• Automate environment provisioning and self‑service development workflows.
• Integrate security scanning (SAST, DAST, dependency and secret scanning) into pipelines.
• Manage secrets and configuration securely with Azure Key Vault.
• Define deployment strategies such as blue‑green, canary and zero‑downtime releases.
• Develop automated rollback capabilities and maintain reusable pipeline templates.
• Write code and scripts to automate infrastructure, operational tasks and tooling.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve build, deployment and environment issues.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering or a similar role.
• Proven ownership of production CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Azure services (compute, networking, security).
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
