DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud Automation

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will accelerate Syspro’s software delivery by designing, automating, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and operational workflows. This hands‑on position bridges development and operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable code movement from build to production.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines for code integration, testing, and deployment.
• Automate repetitive development, testing, and operational tasks.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Manage Docker containerisation and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks and outages.
• Integrate security practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Maintain Git version‑control best practices, including branching, merging, and GitOps workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and improve deployment readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, platform engineering or DevOps.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong background in containerisation (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
