Data Engineer

About the role

Join DigiOutsource’s Fintech ecosystem as a Data Engineer, where you will design, build, and maintain the data pipelines that power financial analytics, reporting, and decision‑making. You will work with data from transactional platforms to customer engagement tools, ensuring reliability, accessibility, and performance for high‑impact use.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines supporting both real‑time and batch processing.
• Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data transformation.
• Support ETL/ELT workflows for data integration across diverse sources.
• Collaborate with team members to centralise data from multiple systems.
• Implement and manage streaming solutions using platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Ensure data quality and reliability throughout all pipelines.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and document data workflows to maintain performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

Required skills

• Strong SQL skills, including query writing and optimisation.
• Experience building data pipelines for real‑time and batch workloads.
• Hands‑on experience with data streaming platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with ETL and ELT processes.
