Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to become the analytical owner of our product domains, turning data into actionable decisions for Product, R&D, Operations, and Business teams. You will work hands‑on with SQL and business‑intelligence tools, partner closely with product managers and engineers, and help shape the strategic direction of our AI‑driven sports content platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own all analytical aspects of assigned product domains.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics while ensuring data integrity.
• Use analytical tools, data mining, and business logic to advise the Product team on day‑to‑day questions.
• Analyze and optimise products and activities, contributing to design and implementation as a strategic voice.
• Own and manage multiple data initiatives and projects, both ongoing and ad‑hoc.
• Define alerts and monitor performance to improve process efficiency.
• Provide data support to prioritise new features and initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, Operations, and Business teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years experience as a Product, Data, Business or Operations Analyst in a data‑rich environment.
• Current role must be an analyst position at a technology company (no finance, banking, or insurance background).
• Strong verbal English (B2+), with regular presentations to stakeholders.
• Proven experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) in the analytics workflow.

Required skills

• SQL – daily, hands‑on query writing.
• AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini for query generation, data exploration or summarisation.
• Tableau, Power BI or Looker (nice to have).
