Customer Banking Specialist – Chadstone Branch

About the role

The Customer Banking Specialist is the public face of CommBank at the Chadstone branch, delivering a seamless banking experience to personal and small‑business customers. You will work within a predetermined roster, engaging with customers to understand and meet their financial needs across a range of products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth conversations with customers about banking needs, including home loans, business banking and financial advice.
• Assist with account enquiries, maintenance and processing of credit applications.
• Perform Financial Health Checks to assess customers’ financial situations and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Demonstrate in‑branch technology and digital banking options, guiding customers through self‑service tools.
• Problem‑solve and provide effective solutions while adhering to risk‑averse processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service, preferably in financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Strong questioning and problem‑solving abilities, acting with integrity and a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, commercial retail environment and provide holistic solutions.
