Commercial Support Analyst – Service Department

About the role

The Commercial Support Analyst will join Boxer Superstores' Commercial Service Department at the Westville head office. You will turn financial and market data into actionable insights that support senior commercial decision‑making and drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis focused on margin control, cost forecasting and promotion modelling.
• Analyse market trends, category performance and supplier data using insight platforms.
• Prepare and present ad‑hoc reports and presentations for senior management.
• Monitor supplier, category, buyer and promotional performance, recommending improvements.
• Support pricing decisions with data‑driven analysis and maintain historical promotion performance records.
• Manage special commercial projects, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure compliance with EDI processes.

Required profile

• Minimum three‑year BCom degree or equivalent qualification in analytics or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in a commercial analytical role.
• Strong analytical, numerical reasoning and attention‑to‑detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
