About the role
Pastdue Credit is seeking an experienced Collections Trainer to join its Cape Town team. You will design, deliver and continuously improve training programmes that enable collections agents to provide exceptional customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver customer‑service training for new hires and existing staff.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities.
- Create and maintain training materials such as manuals, presentations and online content.
- Facilitate workshops, coaching sessions and onboarding programmes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with team leaders to align training with business objectives.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience delivering training within a collections or BPO call‑centre environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to present to diverse audiences and adapt to different learning styles.
- Strong coaching and mentoring mindset with a passion for developing people.
- Service‑oriented and professional attitude.
