Client Relations Consultant (Centurion)

About the role

As a Client Relations Consultant you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering a positive experience while supporting the sales and service functions of Old Mutual. You will use your product knowledge and consultative approach to address inquiries, process orders and nurture long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced product and service information to customers.
• Record and process customer orders, selecting the most appropriate approach.
• Handle basic and advanced customer issues, including returns, exchanges and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Prospect and develop relationships with allocated potential customers through calls and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Enter accurate data into the CRM system after each customer interaction.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements.
• Deliver exceptional service to encourage renewals and continued product use.
• Adhere to organisational policies, regulatory codes and operational standards.
• Participate in training and coaching to maintain and improve technical skills.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to make decisions and take accountability.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
