Videographer Consultant

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a creative and skilled Videographer to join their team in Cape Town. This role is instrumental in shaping how the organisation communicates its story and connects with its diverse audiences across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high-quality video and multimedia content for digital channels, social media, website and internal communications.
• Develop concepts, storyboards and visual storytelling strategies aligned with marketing goals and brand guidelines.
• Plan, coordinate and execute video shoots, including location scouting, scheduling, equipment management and directing participants.
• Capture professional video and audio, covering events, interviews, leadership messages and customer stories.
• Perform post‑production tasks such as editing, colour correction, audio enhancement, motion graphics and final delivery.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, digital teams and other stakeholders to ensure content meets brief and brand standards.
• Optimise video assets for each platform to maximise reach and engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film & Television Production, Videography, Multimedia Design or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing the full video production lifecycle in a corporate or agency environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling, technical proficiency and high‑quality output.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into visual content.
