Travel Sales Consultant – German Speaking (Remote)

About the role

We are a boutique adventure tour operator looking for a German‑speaking Travel Sales Consultant to join our remote team in South Africa. You will handle enquiries from FIT clients, sell bespoke safaris across Southern and East Africa, and turn high‑level itineraries into fully booked trips.

Key responsibilities

• Manage safari enquiries and close sales for German‑speaking clientele.
• Design and finalize bespoke safari itineraries, coordinating all travel details.
• Provide detailed quotations and follow‑up with clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and update the booking system.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain high service standards under pressure.

Required profile

• Native‑level German with strong English communication skills.
• Minimum 3‑4 years experience in safari or travel retail sales.
• Passionate about wildlife, adventure travel and familiar with Southern and East African destinations.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to meet sales goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with WordPress (advantageous).
