Transport Controller (Mid-Level)

About the Position

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise drivers to ensure compliance with safety and delivery protocols.
• Optimize delivery routes and scheduling to minimize delays and maximize resource utilization.
• Coordinate fleet management and dispatch operations effectively.
• Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Syspro, or Oracle) to monitor and report on transport activities.
• Ensure continuous operational flow and proactive problem-solving to prevent logistical bottlenecks.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience (2 to 5 years) in transport control, fleet coordination, or logistics operations.
• Background in high-pressure sectors such as FMCG, Mining, Manufacturing, or Distribution is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate between multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of accuracy in a fast-moving environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or Business Administration.
• Proficiency in ERP software (SAP, Syspro, or Oracle).
• Expertise in route planning and fleet dispatching.
• Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
