Tour Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Tour Coordinator to design and manage safari tour itineraries for our clients. The role is based in Durbanville, Cape Town and supports senior directors in a fast‑paced travel and tourism environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and coordinate complete safari tour packages, from accommodation to activities.
• Manage all travel logistics, including transport, permits and supplier communications.
• Utilise Safari Office and Rest Request systems to process bookings and track itineraries.
• Ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience throughout the booking process.
• Collaborate with the directors and other departments to meet operational targets.

Required profile

• Matriculation plus a relevant travel or tourism certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in travel coordination or tour operations.
• Bilingual proficiency in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong, adaptable personality with excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to relocate if required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Safari Office software.
• Experience using Rest Request for travel management.
